Audrey Niffenegger is probably best known for her book, The Time Traveler's wife. I came across her because of her book. Inspired by her writing I went to look for more work by her and discovered that she is a practicing artist specializing in visual books. I ended up reading/looking at one of her books at a public library. Her visual work is somewhat related to her writing but I think of her writing as a warmer, softer version of her paintings and prints. I am moved by the disturbing qualities in her work.
